Adventure Log, Day XXX. Along my travels today, I discovered the statue of an ancient being in the ruins of an amphitheater. The statue, despite being made of stone, seemed to speak to me. “Why do you study the arcane?” it said. “Why do I study the arcane?” I asked back. The statue sat unmoving. Why do I study the arcane…

I study the arcane to seek community and pursue self fulfillment. I want to experience magic  in many different styles. I’m attuned to more macabre, experimental, and mature magic, but I’ve dabbled in, and enjoyed many varieties of the arcane. I study and journey to meet other adventurers, who too are developing their magic and sharing it with the world.  My magic is strong, and it tells a story. It tells the story of an adventurer who wants nothing more than to create, and to settle into a community of like minded arcanists just like him. I couldn’t imagine a life without my magic, in any form or facet. My magic makes me the artist I am today.
